Firethorn Lane (near the new office building) will be undergoing repairs in the near future. Once the office building has completed their "heavy hauls", repairs will begin.

Montello road (off of 84th St) has been renamed to Firethorn Lane. With the road being reconfigured, Firethorn Lane now leads directly to the clubhouse.

Firethorn is pleased to annouce that we have selected a builder for our 8 new townhome units to be developed near the clubhouse. Our builder for this new and exciting phase of Firethorn's development is Pride Homes.

Although not yet final, we have heard from some members of the School Board that Firethorn's students will be assigned to the following schools:

- Elementary = Pyrtle

- Middle School = Lux

- High School = East

We are pleased to be in these school boundaries as all are considered very fine schools.

Hole # 6 on the West-9 will soon undergo a facelift. We'll be taking down much of the hill to create a temporary driving range. If things go as planned, we should be able to seed the reconfigured hole this fall and open when we close the existing driving range for remodeling next summer.

Grading began on the latest addition to the Firethorn community (Firethorn Terrace) in mid-August. Following grading, the water and sewer infrastructure will be installed. Once we're finished with those utilities the road base will then be constructed. Weather permitting, the lot infrastructure will be finished by year-end.

Firethorn's new state-of-the-art lift station is complete. Our long battle with the internal sewer infrastructure is over and our completely new system is operational. Remediation of the wetland cells has begun.
